This workshop will help therapists who are interested in IFS, and possibly in IFS training, to become more comfortable with the model.  If you are interested, this workshop will teach you enough IFS theory and skills to help you help your clients heal.  You will learn how to help your clients bring Self energy to their parts.

Through didactic presentations, live demos, video tape of IFS sessions, and dyadic work, participants will:

•    Learn the Overview of the IFS Model
•    Discover your own parts and your clients’ parts and begin to learn how to work with parts
•    Learn how to access Self energy and help your clients do the same.
•    Bring IFS techniques to your practice
•    Develop IFS skills to help clients increase affect tolerance and regulation when doing trauma work

•    Enrich your practice with skills from a powerful therapeutic model
