In between each of these sessions you will have an opportunity to participate in a triad practice session, with supervision.

What to Expect

The Center for Self Leadership (CSL) offers “Level One” trainings that can lead to certification as an IFS practitioner or therapist.  This “Essentials” course is more streamlined, and is not sponsored by CSL.  It will offer a foundation of IFS theory and opportunities for supervised practice.

As individual learning curves vary, some may feel ready to add the IFS approach to their clinical practice after completing this course.  However, anyone who wishes to refer to themselves as “Certified” will need to complete a Level One Training sponsored by CSL and meet other criteria.  Information on these in-depth training opportunities can be found at

In addition to the three triad practice sessions included in this program, you are welcome to increase your mastery by booking additional sessions with us.
